On the 25th of May 2018, Data Protection will change for everyone, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will be enforced and the data protection rules will change dramatically for everyone.

Retention
Consent
The 4 words above are only part of the GDPR story and they should be very familiar to you and your business at this stage of the process, especially when you consider there is now less than a year to become compliant.
Becoming GDPR compliant is not a 5 minute task. GDPR will change many of the ways that you and your business must manage the data you have within your business.
Changing your internal policies will take considerable time and effort, these policies will need to be manged and evolve as you and GDPR does.
